Born and raised in Canada, I attended the University of Waterloo with a BSc in Biochem and Business. I stumbled into design during an elective coding course and was hooked.As a result, my scientific background largely defines my design approach, intersecting design and functionality with a need for definitive conclusions from detailed research. Being a self-taught designer has shaped me into an avid learner, motivated by the desire to make an impact in this world, even if its a small one.

Outside of work, you can find me training in the gym, crocheting, or sitting by my office window painting.
